Oktoberfest

It’s fall. It’s Seattle. It’s time for Oktoberfest! Several celebrations are happening this year, and here are our favorites:

Ballard has become quite well known for its craft breweries. So, what better way to celebrate fall in Seattle than drinking scrumptious local beers? Ballard will be showcasing brews from Reuben’s, Populuxe, Lucky Envelope, and Stoup Brewing.

Leavenworth (September 29 – October 14)

Leavenworth makes the list again! It’s probably no surprise to hear that Oktoberfest in a Bavarian Village is a big deal. For three weeks, the town becomes packed with food, drink, activities, and live music.

Kirkland (September 22 – 24)

During the Kirkland Oktoberfest, Marine Park Pavilion turns into an action-packed festival with beer, food, games, multiple music stages, homebrew competitions, costume contests, and wiener dog races.

Fremont (September 22 – 24)

Fremont (aka The Center of the Universe) will be home to an Oktoberfest serving up entertainment and over 100 beers to taste. Fall in Seattle goes well with drinks, food, live music, and chainsaw pumpkin carving!

Oktoberfest Northwest (October 6 – 8)

In addition to the beer and traditional German fare, Oktoberfest Northwest offers a 5k race, wiener dog races, bar games, dancing, and seeing who can hammer a nail into wood the fastest (seriously).
